Workplace Solutions was interviewed and hired to work with The Chazen Companies on their new Headquarters building project. The Chazen Companies had been given some specifications on furniture and they blew the budget big time. Workplace Solutions was asked to research and provide the most cost effective furniture solution for their need for 80 workstations, 13 private offices, 3 meeting rooms, break rooms, executive conference room, President's office, reception…..the entire space. We went to work and took the specifications they had been given. Being Interior Designers at heart, we wanted a great looking space…we weren't looking to fill in with budget furniture either. We did exhaustive research. We presented many options and offered selections that saved tons of money, and didn't sacrifice the aesthetics one bit. In fact, it looks dynamite!

We redesigned their floor plan, made the space more functional, fit in more workstations, which gave them a higher return on every square foot of space. We were challenged to think out of the box when it came to finding different furniture solutions that would reduce the original budget for furniture they were given. We continually made suggestions that saved money and the look just kept getting better.

Being a fast growing and progressive engineering and planning firm; they are faced with ever changing and cutting edge technology. We needed to deal with the cable requirements for an example. We presented a solution that utilizes a divided raceway in the panel system. This provides separations of power and low voltage cables. We also provided ergonomic solutions for each workstation and offered some workers a "sit-stand" workstation. 

We've also designed the public spaces for this building, and were asked for our input for some exterior design. We have now been invited to work on the main floor of the building, designing space for a new tenant. We'll show you that work when it's done!

The installation for The Chazen Companies was completed on time and on budget. The space designed is dynamic and cutting edge. The Chazen team is very happy and productive in their new space.
